Spadeoak make a significant investment in new plant to maintain our reputation of the highest standards and right first time, quality delivery

Committed to our core values for quality, efficiency, minimising environmental impact and most importantly safety, Spadeoak has made a significant investment to renew our vehicles, plant and machinery. “So…..Why is it important to invest in new plant and equipment?”

Investing in new equipment, as well as leading-edge technologies, enables Spadeoak to be more agile and responsive as business needs change. It also better positions us to meet the changing preferences and requirements of our customers and end users.

Following the arrival last year of 12 new Bomag rollers, our latest arrivals include 12 new 72-plate Mercedes Sprinter vans, a SUPER 800 – 3i mini-paver and three new SUPER 1803-3i pavers.

The SUPER 1803-3i is Vögele, a Wirtgen Group company‘s most powerful wheeled paver. At a high level of perfection, it combines features such as sturdy and reliable material handling, large pave widths up to 8m, excellent mobility and easy transfer under its own power. With a Pivot Steer function, the paver has a minimal inner turning circle, enabling the machine to turn virtually on the spot, minimising the requirement for multiple manoeuvres to turn.

Peter Rees, Spadeoak Director of Business Development said;

“Our Investment in the latest plant and leading-edge technologies amplifies our ability to be agile and responsive for all our customers, this is of paramount importance to our people and the organisation. Spadeoak really believes in a right first time, quality approach recognising that this is what all of our customers deserve. We may have new Plant, Vehicles and Equipment but rest assured, it’s the same great people operating them promoting quality, without compromise.”
