The construction of the track is progressing as Spadeoak lay circa 800 tonnes of base asphalt on top of a type 1 material, laying the foundations of the cycle track.
Our civils teams have installed fencing around the area, developed a topsoil for seeding and planting trees and installed lighting columns and drainage across the site.
Our surfacing teams are allowing the area to develop further prior to returning to lay the surface course in April and complete the construction of the car park and access road.
The huge asphalt cycle track can be adjusted to create 8 different tracks for racing, the true scale can be seen in the below pictures. We look forward to bringing you further developments as the project approaches completion.
